PROGRAM PROPOSALS

Want to offer a program or course through Boomerz?  Here are our guidelines (they are slightly different for day and evening programs).

  1. Priority within a subject area will be given first to corporate members, and then to members of Boomerz who make proposals

  1. Programs must appeal primarily to the population segment that Boomerz serves – Baby Boomers between the ages of 44 and 62 with the emphasis on 50+.

  2. Evening Programs usually feature presenters from 3 - 5 organizations, not just one. Presenters can represent different facets of the program objectives.  Speakers at our evening programs are never paid.

  3. All Boomerz programs are educational and neutral. Presenters may NOT sell product from the podium.

  4. Evening Program Presenters MAY buy a table top and sell from their table top

  5. Evening Program coordinators (those who design programs, line up speakers and write copy for the flyer) will be offered a table top free of charge at the event

  6. Daytime Programs are more like short-non-credit courses and have slightly different rules:  They can be 3 hours or more in length, may be offered on more than one day, and may feature one instructor who may be paid a nominal fee ($25 an hour).

  7. To present your proposal, simply click here

  8. We will respond either accepting the proposal, asking for more information, or letting you know that it isn’t something we want to do at the present time.

  9. Boomerz will find potential dates and secure the location at least 8 weeks prior to the scheduled event.

  10. Send info above or questions to Info@BoomerzAZ.com
