PROGRAM PROPOSALS

Want to offer a program through Boomerz?  Here are our guidelines.

  1. Priority will be given first to corporate members, and then to members of Boomerz who make proposals

  1. Programs must appeal primarily to the population segment that Boomerz serves – Baby Boomers between the ages of 44 and 62 with the emphasis on 50+.

  1. Proposals must have clear objectives to be achieved in the program

  1. Programs must feature presenters from 3 - 5 organizations, not just one. Presenters can represent different facets of the program objectives.

  1. All Boomerz programs are educational and neutral. Presenters may NOT sell product from the podium.

  1. Presenters MAY buy a table top and sell from their table top

  1. Program coordinators will be offered a table top free of charge at the event

  1. To present your proposal, simply send us a short e-mail with the following information (try not to overwhelm us with info at this stage! Rather than impressing us, it is more likely to go into the "I will read this when I have time" file.):

    1. Title of the program

    2. 1-2 clear objectives

    3. 3 - 5 or bullet points of information that will be covered

    4. your own short bio (3 - 5 sentences) and short description of the type of presenters that would be included in the program.

  1. We will respond either accepting the proposal, asking for more information, or letting you know that it isn’t something we want to do at the present time.

  2. Boomerz will find potential dates and secure the location at least 8 weeks prior to the scheduled event.

  3. If your draft proposal is accepted, you will need to get us the following information as a Final Proposal at least 6 weeks before the program is scheduled.  This should include:

    1. Snappy title that will attract Boomerz

    2. Short description of the program - 3 - 5 sentences that focuses on what the attendee will get out of attending and is marketing-friendly

    3. Names, bios (short – 3 sentences maximum) and contact information phone and e-mail for all presenters. This should not come piecemeal, but rather as one complete document.

    4. This material should NOT be formatted – it needs to be submitted WITHOUT bullets, indenting etc.  If it can be done in .txt so much the better.  Boomerz will prepare a flyer to be e-mailed to Boomerz list and one that can be forwarded to your lists as well.

    5. Any pictures of presenters or logos of sponsoring organizations in jpg format (send as attachments to the Final Proposal.

    6. News release to announce the program (Boomerz will put the information in the proper context and on letterhead and will send it out to the media).

  4. Send info above or questions to Info@BoomerzAZ.com
