As a Boomerz Member you will meet new people, make new friends, and find new ways to utilize your skills and find meaningful ways to enrich your life.  You will be able to participate in a variety of events designed to address your needs and interests whether related to your career, family life stages, world affairs, enriching the community or social networking.  Our diverse activities are offered year-round and are a great way to meet new people, become involved in a project and contribute to the community.

 

Boomers have a lot to give, but they want to give it in their own way.  They want meaningful opportunities - whether it is volunteering or a second career - on their own terms.  Our outreach programs are designed to get these bright minds focused on positive change in the community - be it local, national, or international.  We empower boomers to think differently and more creatively than previous generations about mid-life options and provide a catalyst for action.

Membership Levels

Boomerz relies in part on membership fees to bring you great programs, connect you to meaningful opportunities, and act as your advocate with businesses and non-profit institutions in the Valley.  Become a Boomerz member network with like-minded baby boomers, and enjoy the benefits of membership and the satisfaction of supporting an organization that supports you.  

 

Individual ($50 a year) - Click here to Join at this level

  • One free admission to some Boomerz events and ability to attend others at discounted prices

  • One invitation to wine and cheese mixers

  • Monthly e-mail newsletter

  • Free admission to all Talent Acquisition Coffees (there will be a charge for non-members in 2008)

  • One invitation to members only events such as the "End of the Year Tax Strategies for the Boomer Job Seeker" and re-careering blogs/live chats with career experts affiliated with Boomerz

  • Significant discounts for affiliated private Career Coaches and Life Coaches ($85 per hour rather than the $125 standard rate)  

  • $50 discount when you sign up with My Computer Works, a Scottsdale-based company that provides immediate and unlimited help desk support from US based technicians for a small monthly flat fee.

All the above benefits for two plus two invitations to private receptions for VIP guests and advance notice of all upcoming events with limited seating.

 

Partner ($250 a year) - Click here to join at this level

All the above benefits for four and reserved priority seating at events and four invitations to private receptions for VIP guests. 

 

Leader ($500 a year) - Click here to join at this level

All the above benefits for six, and recognition in the program for major Boomerz events.

 

Philanthropist ($1000 a year) - Click here to join at this level
