What is a Social Entrepreneur?

A social entrepreneur is a person who uses his/her entrepreneurial skills to organize, create and manage a venture to effect social change.  Boomerz is interested in capturing the talents and experience to develop projects that contributed significantly to the community and to other non-profits.  We are presently conducting needs assessments with local agencies with an eye to developing entrepreneurial projects that are in line with their mission and at the same time will produce income that will add to their sustainability.

Project Manager Opportunities

• Financial Services Project: Help the underprivileged gain financial stability!  We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a team to develop a non-profit financial institution that serves the non-profit community and its clients.

• Art Center Project: Do you love art?  We are seeking a highly motivated individual to recruit and lead a team that develops a specialized art gallery that serves prison inmates and ex-offenders.  You will help this community by reducing recidivism, providing a revenue source for an Inmate Release Fund that pays restitution to victims and creates jobs for ex-offenders.
